The college places great emphasis on fostering practical artistic skills. Over 800 students have earned awards in various prestigious national and provincial competitions, such as the National Teaching Skills Competition for Teacher Education Students, the National Exhibition of Fine Arts, the National College Student Art Exhibition and Performance, and the National Advertising Art Design Competition for College Students. The college’s students have also showcased their talents on the global stage, representing China in cultural exchange programs across 10 countries, including the United States and Canada, through initiatives sponsored by the Ministry of Education’s Center for Language Education and Cooperation. Notably, the college has participated in the “China-ASEAN Art Education Achievement Exhibition”, further highlighting its international presence.
